*These rates are only available if you are looking for lodging dates that fall in the next three months & Boxwood Villa is not booked.  Please see the Availability Page for open dates.  The entire property and all of the living spaces are included in these rates but unused bedrooms/baths will be locked.  Only one party can rent the property at a time to maintain privacy.  The refundable damage deposit is only $250 for 1-3 bedrooms vs. $1000 for the whole house.

Throughout that time she has held every front of house position in the restaurant and hotel industry. Emmie has made it her goal and mission to anticipate guest needs, create a relaxing and welcoming environment and make guests feel at home and well cared for.

In addition to being hospitable, Emmie has a passion for wine. Throughout her time in the restaurant industry she took the opportunity to study and learn about the various wine regions around the world, with a focus on French and California wines. With that background, Emmie is able to find the best of the best coming out of Virginia, while highlighting a variety of interesting wineries, breweries, and cideries.
